“God be praised,” remarked the lawyer, Naeem Panjutha, on the messaging site X, formerly known as Twitter, after a court rejected accusations relating to the death of a lawyer in the southern city of Quetta.
Khan, who was charged with murder in June, has been charged in over 100 instances since his removal in a parliamentary vote of confidence in April 2022, following a disagreement with the country’s powerful military.
A high court in Islamabad is also scheduled to rule on Monday on Khan’s request to have his conviction in a graft case suspended.
