Apple’s iPhone 17 512GB brings together generous storage, upgraded camera technology, a smoother display and powerful processing performance, positioning the device as an attractive option for smartphone buyers looking for flagship features without moving into Apple’s Pro lineup.

Australian retail item number 240975 has been identified as the Apple iPhone 17 512GB. The high-capacity configuration is particularly suited to consumers who regularly store large photo libraries, record high-resolution video, download games or keep extensive entertainment collections directly on their smartphones.

At the centre of the iPhone 17 is Apple’s A19 chip, featuring a six-core CPU with two performance cores and four efficiency cores. The processor is accompanied by a five-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, a 16-core Neural Engine and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

The combination gives the iPhone 17 the processing capability required for demanding applications, mobile gaming, photography, video processing and Apple Intelligence experiences while maintaining the efficiency expected from a modern flagship smartphone.

One of the most noticeable upgrades is the phone’s 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.

Apple has equipped the screen with ProMotion technology, allowing adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling, animations, supported games and everyday navigation appear considerably smoother.

The display also includes an Always-On display, Dynamic Island, HDR and True Tone, while outdoor peak brightness can reach 3,000 nits, improving visibility when the device is being used in bright sunlight.

Resolution stands at 2622 by 1206 pixels at 460 pixels per inch, giving photographs, videos and text a sharp appearance.

Photography is another major focus of the iPhone 17.

Apple has introduced a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system, combining a 48MP Fusion Main camera with a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera.

The primary camera supports high-resolution 24MP and 48MP photographs and incorporates sensor-shift optical image stabilisation.

It can also deliver an optical-quality 2x Telephoto option, providing users with additional flexibility when photographing portraits, people, products and more distant subjects.

The 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera offers a 120-degree field of view, making it useful for landscapes, architecture, group photographs and macro photography.

Together, the camera system provides 0.5x, 1x and 2x optical zoom options, alongside digital zoom of up to 10x.

Apple has also upgraded the front-facing camera with an 18MP Center Stage camera.

Center Stage can intelligently adjust framing during compatible photographs and video calls, while the camera also supports autofocus, ultra-stabilised video and Dual Capture.

For video creators, the front camera can record 4K Dolby Vision video at up to 60 frames per second, making the iPhone increasingly useful for social-media videos, travel content, interviews and everyday recording.

The 512GB storage capacity is another major attraction.

Apple officially offers the standard iPhone 17 with 256GB and 512GB storage configurations, making 512GB the largest storage option available on the standard iPhone 17.

That additional space can be especially valuable as high-resolution photographs, 4K video, mobile games and offline media libraries continue to require greater amounts of storage.

Battery performance also strengthens the overall package.

Apple rates the iPhone 17 for up to 30 hours of video playback and as much as 27 hours of streamed video playback under its specified testing conditions.

Fast charging is supported, with Apple saying the handset can reach up to 50 per cent charge in around 20 minutes when paired with a compatible 40W or higher power adapter and USB-C charging cable.

Durability has also received attention.

The smartphone uses an aluminium design with Ceramic Shield 2 protecting the front. It carries an IP68 water- and dust-resistance rating, tested at a maximum depth of six metres for up to 30 minutes under the relevant IEC standard.

Apple offers the iPhone 17 in Black, White, Mist Blue, Sage and Lavender, giving buyers a broader selection of finishes.

Other important features include Face ID, USB-C connectivity, the Action button and Camera Control, giving users quicker access to commonly used functions and photography controls.

For buyers prioritising storage, camera versatility, display quality and long-term performance, the Apple iPhone 17 512GB combines several of Apple’s latest technologies in the standard iPhone range.

Its 512GB capacity is particularly appealing for photographers, video creators, gamers and heavy smartphone users who want more room without constantly managing or deleting their files.
