Puzzle lovers are getting more ways to test their knowledge as the popular Shark Quiz introduces new features and joins an expanded online puzzle platform.
Hosted by Brydon Coverdale, known as “The Shark” from The Chase Australia, the quiz continues to challenge players with questions covering news, sport, culture and general knowledge. A new replay option now allows users to attempt the quiz again, improve their scores and compete with friends and family.
The updated puzzle hub also introduces two new games: Wordrow, a five-letter word guessing challenge where players have six attempts to find the answer, and Jigsaw, a digital puzzle experience using images from photojournalists around the world.
Traditional favourites including Crossword, Cryptic Crossword and Sudoku remain available, giving users a wider range of daily challenges from quick brain exercises to longer problem-solving activities.
The Shark Quiz has developed a strong following among regular players, with many treating it as a daily mental workout. Its popularity has also extended into sporting circles, with Australian cricket players reportedly using the quiz as a team activity during tours and matches.
The expanded puzzle offering reflects a growing demand for interactive digital entertainment that encourages learning, competition and daily engagement beyond traditional news consumption.
