Good morning, I’m Tessa Flemming with the latest on the Israel-Iran conflict.
To begin, U.S. President Donald Trump says he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who called to wish him a happy birthday.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump shared that the conversation included discussions about Iran, which he said Putin “knows very well.”
“The call lasted about an hour,” Trump wrote, adding, “He agrees with me that the Israel-Iran war should end — and I told him the same goes for his own war.”
