Human remains found, police arrest suspect in connection with missing Sunbury man Joshua Bishop case.

Police have uncovered human remains and arrested a man as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Joshua Bishop, a Melbourne man from Sunbury.

Earlier this month, public appeals were made for information regarding Mr. Bishop’s whereabouts. The Missing Persons Squad found the remains after executing a search warrant at a residence in Westmeadows on Saturday, although the remains have yet to be formally identified.

A 27-year-old man was taken into custody this afternoon and is expected to be questioned in connection with the remains.
