Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has issued a stern message calling for Israel to be restrained. In a phone conversation on Saturday, he told Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian that the Saudi monarchy strongly condemns the Israeli attacks on Iran.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Crown Prince stated that the attacks undermined Iran’s sovereignty and security and violated international laws and norms.
He further noted that these strikes have disrupted ongoing dialogue regarding Iran’s nuclear program and obstructed diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions.
The Crown Prince emphasized that the use of force is not an acceptable means of conflict resolution and stressed that differences should be addressed through dialogue and negotiation.
In addition, he also discussed the consequences of the Israeli strikes in Iran with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and spoke by phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
